Cruelty Free Cosmetics

Cruelty Free Cosmetics

Do you ever think about the ethics behind the products you buy? Its a scary thought and you may be surprised at what you find.

We are a family of animal lovers, I have already turned my 2 girls into crazy cat ladies aged 8 & 9. So its no surprise that it was top of the agenda when creating our products and choosing our suppliers to ensure that they were all 100% animal cruelty free.

We have 4 BANK ethics which flow throughout all of our products, you can see our company icons for these including Cruelty Free, Vegan, Eco Awareness & Giving Back.

These are 4 ethics we feel all cosmetic companies should be working towards. Our aim is to inspire and educate to make a change, and for you the consumer to be aware and understand what is behind the cosmetics you are buying and using.

For this blog lets focus on Cruelty Free, this is a term used to show a product has not been tested on animals during development or production. (yes lots of cosmetic companies still do this!) In our view animals are not here for us to test on.  'Be Kind To Every Kind'

The term Cruelty free does not mean a product is vegan, this is when products are free from animal derived ingredients. Products can be one of these or both; it's always better to check than presume.

@petauk

Every product we create, produce, market and sell is 100% cruelty free, this means you can purchase and use our products happily in the knowledge that you are part of a kinder, greener cosmetic world.

We all have to part to play in making our planet a better place, and choosing cruelty free products is something we can all easily do to help our environment, and here at BANK beauty we make it easier.

We are currently on the way to being certified by Peta and the vegan society which we are mega happy and proud about.
